Julia qualified from The Royal London Hospital, with a distinction, in 1992. In her final year, she won the Young Dentist Oral Medicine Award and was sponsored by Kavo to carry out research into composite filling materials, in Singapore. After completing her vocational training year in Chelmsford, she moved back to the North East, where she worked in Low Fell, before moving to Chester Road.
The same goes for patients who abuse alcohol or other drugs https://globalmarch.org/ambien-10mg/ and non-drug substances. Such people during the treatment should be in sight of doctors.
Twenty three years have passed since Julia joined Chester Road and, during this time, she has continued her professional development, through a combination of practical courses and lectures. As well as knowing how to care for teeth, she is trained to carry out facial aesthetics, including Botox and Dermal Fillers. She has also had orthodontic training in the Quick Straight Teeth system.
In 2014, Julia was delighted to be voted Sunderland Dentist of the Year by Sunderland Royal Hospital and the Sunderland Echo.
Julia is keen to put anxious people at ease and believes she has a good rapport with her patients, especially after being at the practice for so long! She especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry and tooth straightening, as they can improve appearance and confidence.
Outside work, Julia loves spending time with her husband and two young children, and, when time allows, she enjoys running and playing golf.
